I listened to the entire album back to back with all songs, and I must say that
this album was much needed. Cardi B came through with her melodic beats
and rhymes, and she crushed this album pound for pound. The album title
"Am I The Drama" pretty much is self-explanatory. Cardi addresses all rumors,
issues with other artists, gossip, and pretty much people talking down on her name.
The features range from legendary artist Janet Jackson with a remix of "Principle"
which has a sample from the Pop culture hit Principle of Pleasure from the 90s,
It doesn't stop there; she does a super dope track, "SAFE" with Kelani, which is
a vibe for the year. There are so many nice tracks on this album, I can say Cardi
gets better, and this album was much anticipated by fans and critics. I can say that
I wasn't the biggest Cardi B fan but I am now because this album is a banger. She
will make her New York peeps proud with this album.
One if my favorite Tacks is "Man Of Your Words", where Cardi lets men know they
better be on point because she and other women don't have time for the BS when it
comes to dating, etc. This album has so many dope features, I would say buy this album
once but twice. She is selling vinyl, CDs, and streaming, which is something that we have
not seen in the industry for quite some time.
We decided to rate this album 3 out of 5 Power P's. I would have given it ,4, but it's just a little too
much cursing at men for me.
